Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known character was that of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working in the theatre in the Chicago area for a few years prior to trying her hand at television and films. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big part in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was not until the end of the 1990s when she was cast in an acting role on The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in the show Numbered Day, which is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio plays. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the story on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final days of his life.
